Hello, fellow geek.

If you’re here, it’s no accident. You’re into tech, and you’ll find plenty to dig into.

Coding Overhead is my personal blog about GNU/Linux, DevOps, Platform Engineering, programming, useful tools, and much more from the world of IT. I write about what interests me and hope you’ll find it interesting too. Some posts are short notes and cheat sheets, while others are full-length articles with detailed breakdowns.

I started this blog to share knowledge that others might find useful. Here you’ll find posts about Linux distributions, Hyprland, Emacs, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. I hope some of it comes in handy.

This blog isn’t about me, but my name is Vladimir anyway. I have over 17 years of experience in software development, and for the last 5+ years I’ve been building cloud infrastructure and leading a team. I started out in development, then got into DevOps and moved on to Platform Engineering with a focus on cloud security.

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). On my home machine: Arch Linux and Emacs.

IT has always fascinated me, and it still does. But I have other interests too, which you can see alongside.
